It was like a dream come true with launch of Webtel Academy in 2009. There could not have been a better way to share our years of experience and expertise in the field of 'e' filing with students who are looking for a career in the field of Accounting and Taxation.
We were amongst first few companies to launch software for Preparation and Filing of 'e' TDS Returns In 2004, when Income Tax Department made it mandatory for corporate to file their TDS Returns in electronic format. Soon other departments followed the footprints of Income Tax Department and 'e' compliance became the order of the day. As on today almost all the departments are accepting Returns in electronic format.
'e' filing simplified the Return filing process and days of long queues were over. But, at the same time being a transition phase for govt. and assesses, very few accountants could get hold of the subject and professionals had to carry out the work themselves. This created a vacuum in the market for experts on 'e' filing. It was when we thought of filling this gap by creating a new breed of 'e' filing experts for the benefits of professionals and corporate world and we, therefore, launched Webtel Academy.
At Webtel Academy our emphasis is on providing in depth subjective and practical knowledge on 'e' filing of various subjects and equip the accounting professional with an additional knowledge beyond routing accounting thus making him a Complete Accountant.
We observed that many institutions/ academies in this field are luring accounting professionals or those who want to get into accounting profession by way of highlighting slogans like "100% Job Guaranteed". We don't deny that we are not or won't use this slogan but our basis of giving job assurance is very strong as we are planning to create a new breed of professionals who will fill the vacuum in the industry at the same time giving growth opportunity to existing accountants.
